Schedule auto-posting of posts, carousels, Reels and Stories from the Content Office app directly to Instagram. Auto-posting with the Content Office app is officially approved by Instagram and complies with Instagram rules and policies.




How to set up auto-posting for a post and carousel


To schedule auto-posting, you need to prepare a post/carousel following requirements:


• Auto-posting is only supported for Professional and Creator accounts. If you have a Personal account, then you need to change the type of Instagram account. Open the Instagram app → Settings → Account → Change account type to Professional or Creator.


➀ Prepare photo/video for auto-publishing: Open post → Click Design → Select photo → Click on ‹Visual Editor› icon → Crop → Select one of suggested sizes → Save


➁ Open the post → Click ‹Date & Time› → Make sure the date and time are set correctly and turn on ‹Auto-posting›


➂ Wait for post verification to complete before updating the status to 'Autoposting Scheduled.'


➃ In case of editing the post, enable auto-posting and verification again.


⑤ At the scheduled time, the post will be automatically published to Instagram.

Picture Options:


• Format: JPEG

• Size: 8 MB

• Aspect Ratio: from 4:5 to 1.91:1

• Width: from 320 to 1440


Video Options:


• Format: MOV or MP4 (MPEG-4 Part 14)

• Size: 100MB maximum.

• Duration: from 3 seconds to 1 minute.

• Aspect ratio: 4 : 5; 16:9;

• Width: up to 1920

• Frequency: 23-60 fps.


• Audio codec: AAC, max. frequency 48 kHz, 1 or 2 channels (mono or stereo).

• Video codec: HEVC or H264, progressive scan, closed group of pictures, 4:2:0 chroma subsampling.

• Video bit rate: VBR, maximum 5 Mbps

• Audio Bitrate: 128 kbps

To schedule Reels auto-posting, you need to prepare Reels according to the following requirements:


• Auto-posting is only supported for Professional or Creator accounts. If you have a Personal account, then you need to change the type of Instagram account. Open the Instagram app → Settings → Account → Change account type to Professional or Creator.


➀ Prepare Reels for auto-publishing: Open Reel → Click Design → Select photo/video → Click on ‹Visual Editor› icon → Crop → Select one of suggested sizes → Save.

To schedule Stories auto-posting, you need to prepare Stories according to the following requirements:


• Auto-posting is only supported for Professional accounts. If you have a Creator or Personal account, then you need to change the type of Instagram account. Open the Instagram app → Settings → Account → Change account type to Professional or Creator.


➀ Prepare Story for auto-publishing: Open Story → Click Design → Select photo/video → Click on ‹Visual Editor› icon → Crop → Select one of suggested sizes → Save.


➁ Open Story → Click ‹Date & Time› → Make sure the date and time are set correctly and turn on ‹Auto-posting›.


➂ Wait for post verification to complete before updating the status to ‘Stories verified’


➃ In case changes are made to Story, enable auto-posting and verify again.


⑤ At the scheduled time, Story will be automatically posted to Instagram.


NOTE: Auto-posting text stickers for Story is not supported by Instagram.

    • Maximum columns (horizontal pixels): 1920
    • Required aspect ratio is between 0.1:1 and 10:1 but we recommend 9:16 to avoid cropping or blank space
  • Audio codec: AAC, max. frequency 48 kHz, 1 or 2 channels (mono or stereo)
  • Video codec: HEVC or H264, progressive scan, closed group of pictures, 4:2:0 chroma subsampling
  • Video bit rate: VBR, maximum 25 Mbps
  • Audio Bitrate: 128 kbps
